Bogumiła Dziel-Wawrowska

In 2004 graduated with distinction from Frederic Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw, where she attended vocal classes under Professor Jadwiga Rappe. She is the laureate of numerous vocal competitions.
Her stage debut took place when she was a student at the Music Academy, at the time she was given the role of the Countess in ‘The Marriage of Figaro’ by W. A. Mozart. Since then she has been regularly appearing in numerous theatrical productions as well as concerts in Poland and abroad alike. The artist’s repertoire includes masterpieces from various epochs spanning from Baroque to contemporary music, songs, arias followed by opera and operetta duos as well as other musical pieces. She takes part in numeral symphonic and chamber music concerts.
She was working with such conductors as Łukasz Borowicz, Gabriel Chmura, Sławomir Chrzanowski, Agnieszka Duczmal, Daniel Huppert, Shlomo Mintz, Marek Moś, Marcin Nałęcz-Niesiołowski, Tadeusz Wicherek. The artist was taking part in many international festivals such as, for instance, Warsaw Autumn Festival, Music in the Cathedral (Kolobrzeg), International Festival of Sacred Music Gaude Mater in Czestochowa, Festival of Organ and Chamber Music (Wygiełzów-Lipowiec), Summer Festival of by Polish Composers (Warsaw), Old Music Festival (Royal Castle in Warsaw), Crucifixus Est Festival (Warsaw), Festival International de Musique Sion Valais (Switzerland). She was cooperating with the Grand Theatre – National Opera during the 2007/8 season. Since March 2009 she had been performing at the Musical Theatre in Lodz.
She has also recorded numerous pieces for the Polish Radio and Television.
